Simply Sauces: Custard

Dessert never tasted better with a side of custard.

Ingredients
  • 50g
  • 1tbsp
    cornflour
  • 300ml
    soya milk
  • 2tbsp
    Golden caster sugar
  • 1/2tbsp
    vanilla extract
Method
  1. Mix a little of 300ml soya milk with cornflour.
  2. Place the remainder of the soya milk in a heavy based pan with caster sugar, vanilla extract and Benecol® Buttery Taste Spread.
  3. Once the Benecol® Buttery Taste Spread has melted whisk in the cornflour, bring slowly to the boil, stirring continuously until thickened.
